Fathers sometimes get lost in the shuffle. They’re used to getting the lame gifts, and they’re used to a pretty low-key holiday. This year, let’s change all of that!

The Twelve Days of Father’s Day - which began as a joke(and maybe a way to get more gifts), is a way to honor your dad in ways that he will actually appreciate.

What does your dad even need? Less than you think, but we can help you figure out great gifts that cost little or nothing. Every Dad is different, though: You might have a sensitive Dad that likes flowers, but I don’t think so. He might say he needs another tie, but he’s being nice.

Consider our ideas instead.
- Do his chores.
- Give him time alone.
- Buy him something he gets himself anyway.
- Buy him something he would never get himself.
- Share a memory of growing up with him that you treasure.
- Thank him for a sacrifice he made, even if it was time with you
- Give him guilt-free living. Forgive and Let go of some past hurt.
- Thank him for his advice on something.
- Ask his advice on something else.
- Give him a day reliving his youth.
- Share a day doing something HE enjoys

Every day, we will go into depth with one idea. We will offer links to Dad stories and suggestions for a few purchases.

If you are brave, honor him all twelve days. Or just make one very unforgettable day.
